Hands-On Conferencing

Discover a new side of edtech at #exabytes17

Every day this May, we’re bringing you another great little reason to head to #exabytes17. While the 7th of July might seem quite a way off, we think now’s the best time to start thinking about arranging cover to be released on the day itself.

One of the big differences between #exabytes17 and other CPD events is that our programme of events doesn’t have you just sit down all day, listening to presentation after presentation. In fact, at the event, you’ll see a huge range of hands-on, interactive presentations that give you a direct look at how to get the best out of classroom technology.

One of the most positively reviewed parts of #exabytes16 last year, these sessions give you a chance to explore topics on a level that normally isn’t possible in conferences, making for a more useful and enjoyable experience all round.

This year, we plan to have four rooms in which hands-on events can be run. We’ll have one large room with 24 laptops available, another with 12 Raspberry Pi 2.0 computers, a third with 12 PiTops and a 4th room with a BYOD scheme covering everything else. At last year’s #exabytes, we had a couple of gaps in our schedule - this time round we’re hoping to have enough fantastic sessions to fill the rooms with even more excellent sessions for our guests - stay tuned for more on that!
