Discussing Devices

Bring your own experience

Every day this May, we’re bringing you another great little reason to head to #exabytes17. While the 7th of July might seem quite a way off, we think now’s the best time to start thinking about arranging cover to be released on the day itself.

Just about every school has its own approach to tablet and BYOD schemes, from those who don’t plan to implement one at all to those who’ve gone all-in on the idea, bringing in devices for every child. With so many different experiences around when it comes to device schemes, there’s a lot of different opinions, approaches and possibilities out there.

Our #exabytes17 is all about giving teachers a space in which they can discover the approaches and methods that have worked for other schools, while sharing their own personal experiences. As such, we’re planning to host a range of different presentations and hands-on demos covering some of the various approaches to device schemes as part of more than 30 fantastic events run by teachers for teachers.

With our programme being voted on by our attendees, we can’t tell you exactly what’s going to take place at #exabytes17. We can, however, say that a lot of the sessions suggested for the show cover a lot of device-related ground, including looks at some fantastic free classroom apps.

Over on our #exabytes17 EventBrite page, you can find some more information about what you can expect from our show this year - and book your tickets for the event!
