Half-Term for #exabytes

16 great reasons to visit #exabytes17

Every day this May, we’re bringing you another great little reason to head to #exabytes17. While the 7th of July might seem quite a way off, we think now’s the best time to start thinking about arranging cover to be released on the day itself.

Every day this month, we’ve been sharing a reason to head to our fantastic #exabytes17 conference on technology in the classroom. Now that we’re half way through the month, we’ll be taking a look back at some of the major things that make #exabytes such a fantastic event for teachers. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be covering some of the things that you’ll actually be able to visit at the conference - profiles of some of our fantastic presenters, and previews of some of the topics set to be explored at the conference itself.

Teacher-Led Conferencing: #exabytes was designed from the start by teachers, for teachers. Unlike some other conferences, there’s absolutely no hidden sales pitches, and all the sessions are designed to be genuinely useful to those in attendance.

Customisable CPD: To make sure that #exabytes is a great experience for all attending, we let delegates vote on what sessions will take place at the show. If you register in the next month (before the 16th June), you’ll get the chance to vote for what you’re most interested in seeing.

Low-Cost Conference: Tickets for #exabytes17 are just £58.80 (or £10 for Exa customers), with the event being entirely not-for profit. Tickets include complete access to everything at the event, along with a fantastic buffet lunch from the venue.

Fantastic Networking Opportunities: #exabytes brings together teachers from practically every level, giving visitors the chance to meet their peers and build their professional network.

Great Reviews for #exabytes16: Last year, we had some absolutely fantastic reviews for #exabytes, with attendees particularly enjoying the breadth of topics covered at the show. This year, we’ll be doing even better, having listened to the feedback we received at last year’s conference.

Incredible Topics: While we’re still working on the #exabytes17 programme, you can expect some fantastic presentations, discussions and hands-on demos, covering everything from using edtech devices like Raspberry Pi and the micro:bit to new teaching styles, all from expert educators.
