How to use Microbit
Every day this May, we’re bringing you another great little reason to head to #exabytes17. While the 7th of July might seem quite a way off, we think now’s the best time to start thinking about arranging cover to be released on the day itself.
It’s been more than a year since the BBC micro:bit was given out free to year 7 students, and in that time there’s been a whole lot of news, from micro:bit’s international expansion to the devices becoming available to purchase. At #exabytes17, you’ll get a chance to see how teachers from across the UK have been using their micro:bits over the last year, with some great hands-on sessions involving the device having been suggested for the year’s #exabytes conference. We’ve seen some great projects and activities featuring micro:bit recently - expect to see some of these at #exabytes!
We’ve also been running quite a range of events focused around the device, particularly including our relatively recent micro:bit hack jam, where families worked to design, plan out and build programs designed to handle some very different scenarios (stay tuned for our micro:bit hack jam blog!).
Whether you’re looking for an introduction to micro:bit or want to find out about some of the best new projects around, #exabytes17 is for you. Book your tickets today through our EventBrite page!
