Phil Bagge Keynotes #exabytes17!

Kicking off the #exabytes17 programme

Every day this May, we’re bringing you another great little reason to head to #exabytes17. While the 7th of July might seem quite a way off, we think now’s the best time to start thinking about arranging cover to be released on the day itself.

We’re thrilled to be announcing our first confirmed keynote for #exabytes17 - Computing At School Master Teacher Phil Bagge, to start off this year’s conference in a great way!

Highly regarded for his contribution to Computing in school, Phil’s website code-it is a very popular and useful resource for teachers, particularly at the primary level. Phil’s played a major role in developing practical and creative approaches to Computing (with his jam sandwich algorithm being a popular introduction to Computational Thinking), while also being a published authority on teaching programming via Scratch.

While not busy teaching computing science in two schools, Phil works on training fellow teachers and public speaking, with his appearances always being big highlights - which is why we’re so excited to welcome him to this year’s #exabytes conference!

With over 30 sessions planned for the day, covering a huge range of topics (as voted on by attendees), #exabytes17 is set to be a fantastic event for teachers interested in getting the best out of the technology available to them.
